The VORTEX round bench – swirling and dynamic

The VORTEX is a bench with that special something. The beautifully shaped, curved wooden parts of the seats are all identical in length and form. Due to the special arrangement, this distinctive wooden bench takes on a spiral shape, almost like a flower in bloom. This means it blends in seamlessly in parks and garden landscapes.

We can customise the VORTEX round bench to the client’s exact needs and preferences. For example, we can adjust the diameter and seat depth of the bench or fit it with different legs, all in accordance with the style and design preferences of the client or landscape architect. Of course, we also offer standard sizes as well, which are ideal for integration with planters, for example.

We can manufacture the metal parts in steel or stainless steel and, on request, powder-coat them in the client’s desired colour or galvanise them. Suitable types of wood for outdoor use include oak or – for large radii – larch and Douglas fir. Indoors or in well-sheltered areas, there are also many other types of wood to choose from.

The VORTEX round bench speaks a truly distinctive design language. The steam-bent backless bench consists of identical, spiral-shaped parts. This structure makes the production more efficient than for conventional round benches and also results in an exciting, dynamic form.

For efficient production and optimum wood utilisation, we recommend that the slats of the VORTEX bench (in the curved dimension) are approximately 65 mm thick.
